Ming Sing
Steamboat is a joint venture by a young Singaporean couple, Quek Wan Sing (25
years old) and Lee Zhi Ming Samuel (27 years old). Wan Sing is a NUS statistics
and applied probability graduate, while Samuel is presently pursuing his
studies at SIM, majoring in business. It was passion for food cum with the
spirit of risk-taking that spurred these two to choose this arduous,
challenging, but exciting journey of entrepreneurship, instead of a stable
salaried office job.
Being
inexperienced in the F&B field, the couple were hit with many setbacks,
ranging from renovation problems, operation disaster to manpower issues.
Instead of seeing the setbacks as failure, the setback served as important
lessons for the couple, who became stronger and more experienced as the months
pass by.
This blog
is hence set up to share with you our learning and growing journey. Do take
